Instead of a card, my friends, Jenee Fleenor, Rebecca Lynn Howard & I made you a Valentine video of my latest song, “That Could Be Us”. The pictures in the video are from our own scrapbooks. Feel free to share the love! Happy Valentine’s Day!
Each member of the band… led their own song — backup vocalist and former The Voice contestant Gwen Sebastian’s near-a cappella cover of The Cranberries’ “Zombie” was (against all odds) a highlight… Lambert closed the show dueting with Sebastian on a note-perfect cover of Little Big Town’s “Girl Crush.”
“Lambert’s rendition of the new Little Big Town single, “Girl Crush,” teamed the singer with Gwen Sebastian, who also dusted off the Cranberries’ “Zombie” for the crowd. (Sebastian, an alumna of The Voice’s Team Blake, is a backup singer for both Lambert and husband Blake Shelton, in addition to her own solo career.) Watch them harmonize on the sultry Little Big Town song…”
GWEN SEBASTIAN PREMIERES PERSONAL VIDEO FOR “SMALL TOWN SOUL” — Country Weekly
There’s nothing quite like going home, and for Gwen Sebastian, one of her most recent trips back to her family farm was captured on film for her latest video, “Small Town Soul.”
The personal video, which is filled with home video footage showing Gwen at graduation, homecoming, singing at talent shows and opening graduation presents with her family, gives the singer’s fans an up-close look at her upbringing and family life .
“That is my grandmother I’m dancing with and playing piano with, and my dad is playing guitar,” Gwen tells Country Weekly about some of the footage. “[And] those are my real parents throughout the video.”
Most of the video was shot on the farm, where we see Gwen saddled up on one of the family’s horses and enjoying time in the house—which she says is about 105 years old—and on the land.
Other locations used in the video include Belle Mehus Auditorium in Bismarck, N.D., and Gwen’s hometown of Hebron, N.D.
